I like understanding how things work, why people struggle with them, and how we can make them better.
Hi, I’m Zizi 👋
My journey into UX/UI design wasn’t a straight line, but it makes sense when I look back.
I’ve always been curious about how things work and drawn to solving problems. That curiosity led me to study Electrical Engineering and later Biomedical Engineering, where I developed a structured, analytical approach to tackling complex challenges. But over time, I realised that what excited me most wasn’t just solving a technical problem. It was finding a solution that made life easier for someone.
That’s what brought me to UX/UI design: the opportunity to combine analytical thinking with creativity and a deeper understanding of people.
During my UX/UI bootcamp, I worked on hands-on projects and collaborated with people from different countries and backgrounds. I explored user research, accessibility, interaction design and the process of turning complex problems into clear, intuitive experiences. I particularly enjoyed looking beyond what users say they need to understand what’s actually getting in their way.
For me, good design isn’t just about making something look good. It’s about asking the right questions, challenging assumptions and creating experiences that feel natural to the people using them.
When I’m not designing, you’ll probably find me at the gym, out hiking, experimenting in the kitchen or getting lost in a good series. I love learning new things, exploring different perspectives and having conversations that make me see the world a little differently.
Curious by nature, analytical by training, and human-centred by design.
Thanks for stopping by! I’d love to connect, exchange ideas or talk about creating better digital experiences.
